Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a glorious week!

At some point in our lives, we all hold in secrets. The nature of these secrets can be minor or they can be very serious.

And so, in an attempt to hide these secrets from the world, we form a shell around us so it cannot be seen or heard.

But what if, in our defense, we cannot live a life outside this shell? We become so accustomed to living in secrecy that it can be the only way to live.

We live in an interesting world. We teach our children not to talk to strangers, but yet as adults we sometimes live our lives talking to strangers.

At some point, do we just hope that we find the one person who will accept us despite the unbearable secrets we may hold?

Personally, I’ve lived my entire life terrified of making friends. I’ve grown up unable to trust anyone and I find myself increasingly aggravated and upset in the presence of people.

Sure, I’ve had a few people who I tried to be friends with as a child, but the friendships never lasted more than a year or two. I didn’t know how friends should act. I didn’t know what friends were supposed to do with each other. I felt awkward at the thought of talking to someone I hadn’t talked to in a very long time, so I lost contact with a lot of those friends.

I think that a lot of us go through life trying to find others like us, those who understand how we feel and how we act. It’s a struggle finding others who are accepting of us. In my short lifetime, I’ve never been able to find it. I haven’t given up yet though!

It’s a strange but delicate balance we must live: We like to rely on others to help us, but at some point we must realize that we can only rely on ourselves when others cannot help us.

Life is just strange but beautiful. It’s all so short yet so meaningful. Even if we feel like we cannot relate to others, we can still make our own impact.

And never give up if you get lost on the way. Getting lost is always part of the journey. It’s the getting unstuck part that tells you who you really are.

And you hold secrets, get them out there, even if it’s in writing that you won’t ever show to anyone. Holding in secrets never ends well. Be yourself and be free.

Well, that’s all for this week’s post. Thanks for reading and have a great week everyone.
