What do we do

When nothing is new?

Is it time we grew?

Or is there more to do?

When we shed

we are not dead

we rise from our bed

for new trials ahead

Maybe it’s best

to let life do the rest

for in order to take a step

we must stray

from where we’ve been led

We may stumble

Our faith may begin to crumble

but as we walk through the night

we find a resolution so bright

so keep walking

it will all end well

for all of life’s wisdom

will let the anger quell
